Sagittarius tarot reading for today

Sagittarius in the tarot

In the Golden Dawn system, Sagittarius belongs to Temperance, card XIV. A winged angel stands with one foot on land and one in a pool, pouring water between two cups, while a path climbs toward distant mountains under a crown of light. The Hebrew letter given to this card means a prop or support, and some readers connect it with the archer's aim. The card is about blending, patience and finding the middle way. Sagittarius is often linked with a restless love of freedom, travel and big ideas, and Temperance shows how that fire works best when it is mixed with care.

As a Fire sign, Sagittarius shares the suit of Wands: adventure, enthusiasm and plans with a wide horizon. Its ruler, Jupiter, corresponds to the Wheel of Fortune, a card of cycles, chance and turning points. A Sagittarius day often goes best with room to explore. The daily card can point to the next horizon, or ask for a steadier pace when too many arrows are in the air.

How to read your daily card as Sagittarius

Sagittarius tends to like the big picture, so read the card for what it says about meaning and direction today. Then bring it down to one honest, practical step. If the card counsels moderation, see it as aiming carefully, not as being held back.

This card is drawn for every Sagittarius at once and changes at midnight. For a card that is yours alone, use the personal card of the day; for the astrology behind these pairings, read tarot and astrology.
